Yesterday we presented our ideas to a few teachers and students in a casual 1-2 minute powerpoint presentation. We received a lot of good feedback and will take a lot of it into consideration going farther into the project. Presenting wasn't stressful and I felt comfortable because I was talking about a topic/issue that I'm excited to help change.
Some of the suggestions we received yesterday include
more locations for collection bins (ex. library)
support behind elementary school involvement
involvement with Take Action and the teacher that runs the club
mentors: Mr Comp-graphic design teacher
As far as our timeline is concerned, this project will not be finished by the end of the year and will mostl likely be carried out into next year. It's an ambitious project and collecting the amount of bottle caps we are aiming for will take a sufficient amount of time. Here's a proposed timeline for the progress of this mural project... *Bold statements indicate personalized deliverables*
